About • March for Jesus
International History & Origins
The March for Jesus movement began in London in 1987, when leaders from Pioneer, Ichthus Christian Fellowship, and Youth With A Mission joined with worship leader Graham Kendrick to carry worship beyond church walls and into the streets. What started as a local “City March” gradually spread across the UK, then Europe, North America, and beyond.
By 1992, the concept had reached the U.S. in a national scope, with believers marching in over 100 cities to proclaim the name of Jesus publicly. In 1993, the first truly international march joined together participants from many nations, forging a global network of public worship. Over time, the movement has evolved to emphasize unity, reconciliation, shared worship, and the public expression of faith in communities around the world.

Our Story
What began as a simple step of faith in Saginaw has grown into something far greater than we imagined. The 2025 March for Jesus - Saginaw hosted there was small, but powerful — filled with worship, unity, and the undeniable presence of God. We are deeply grateful for the city of Saginaw, its leaders, and the police department, who supported us with open arms and helped us carry out that vision.
As we prayed and reflected on what God was doing, the Holy Spirit made it clear that our next step was Fort Worth — a city of influence, diversity, and deep spiritual roots. We believe this is not just a move, but a divine assignment.
Fort Worth is known for its unity among believers and its willingness to partner across churches and communities. Here, we’ve found a city ready to embrace the mission of lifting up the name of Jesus in public worship and love.
